Cirque du Soleil and Michael Jackson - The Legend Lives On - The IMMORTAL World Tour

I am a huge Cirque du Soleil fan. I'm an even bigger fan of Michael Jackson. (His newest cd, Michael, can be ordered below.) The show has now been performed in Canada and the US. There is a concert arena tour show throughout 2012 and a live, permanent theatrical show in Las Vegas later in 2013. (bookmark this hub for upcoming tour dates.) If you've ever seen a live Cirque du Soleil show, you know that it is one of the most amazing, high energy, top performance experiences in entertainment. Guy Laliberte, Cirque's founder said: "Michel Jackson is the King of Pop and an all-time phenomenal artist, both timeless and contemporary. Through the use of cutting edge technology, we will produce a show not only worthy of Michael, but unlike any other we have created before." To make a show worthy of showcasing Michael's music and talent is sure to be breathtaking.

According to Daniel Lamarre, the CEO of Cirque du Soleil, the first of the experiences will be the concert arena opening in Montreal and then moving into the US. The show will be in Las Vegas from Dec. 2-11, 2011. Then it will go global around the same time a second theatrical show will be performed in Las Vegas as a permanent show. The arena touring show is to give fans the feel of attending a Michael Jackson concert, which many of us never had the pleasure of experiencing. What an exciting way to allow the Legend to live on through such an amazing musical, theatrical performance. I can't wait to buy my tickets for The IMMORTAL World Tour!

Michael Jackson deservedly holds the title of being the King of Pop. His music combined with his dance and voice sold more music than any other performer in history. His sixth album, Thriller, released in 1982, became the number one selling album of all time in just over a year of its release. It is now estimated to have sold 110 million copies worldwide. He loved music and performing and was a huge Cirque du Soleil fan. When their Love show came out about the Beatles, Michael Jackson was in the audience. He enjoyed watching the performers and the theatrical extravaganza of a Cirque show.
